The global packaging industry is readying for Taipei Pack 2024, the leading show for cutting-edge packaging technology and solutions, including materials and machinery for filling, sealing, printing, and bagging. Scheduled to be held from June 26 to 29, 2024, Taipei Pack 2024 will feature myriad products that are durable, energy-saving, and efficient.

In an era where climate change is an ever-present concern, global entities including the United Nations and the European Union, along with national governments worldwide, have laid out concrete strategies to brace for this enduring challenge. Adhering to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the industry has started to adopt green packaging materials that are recyclable, reusable, and biodegradable, which opens exciting opportunities for the packaging industry.

A wide range of renowned companies will be displaying their solutions. Benison will show its eco-friendly materials and smart production lines to offer customers stable, high-quality services. Xu Yuan Packaging will display its Auto Slicer for automatic labeling with increased efficiency, which leads to 75% power saving. BE RICH will introduce its lighter paper containers that cut paper use by 18% as well as a range of products made of biodegradable materials. Avatack will show biodegradable materials for trademarks, tapes, straws, bags, and films that have earned the company several international sustainability-related certifications. Rong Ying uses biotech to turn starch and cellulose into polymers, offering 100% biodegradable materials as a clean alternative to disposable plastics.

The exhibition will be complemented by a series of promotional activities. “Daily Savory” will stand out as a four-day series in which each day provides a unique culinary experience, including discussions on the green food supply chain. This segment promises attendees an inspiring journey through sustainable, diverse, and innovative practices from production to packaging.

To shine a light on companies that have made significant steps in adopting Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, the “ESG Achievement Award” will debut at the exhibition.

Taipei Pack 2024 will take place at 4th floor of Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 in Taipei, Taiwan. Visit www.taipeipack.com.tw  to register for free entry and get a limited edition of tote bag mad from recycle plastic material.
